Community Leadership School Project Application

The Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce’s notable program, Community Leadership School (CLS), is returning in 2021 with the goal of making a positive difference in our community. Participants of CLS are asked to participate in a project, which provides leadership, research and creative ideas to a local community organization.

Local businesses, non-profits or civic organizations in Peoria County are invited to apply for participation in the program. Preference will be given to Peoria Area Chamber members. Those who apply are asked to identify a project that has a sense of need, is sustainable for the short-term and the long-term and impacts their mission as well as the overall community. A project manager must be identified that has authority over the project. Requirements for projects of consideration include marketing and development, training and human resources, technology support, and other needs/goals of the organization.

Applications will be accepted until November 12, 2021. Applicants will be notified of their application acceptance the first week of December.
